The International Federation of the Red Cross/Red Crescent has called on the G8 to address road safety. Backing the Make Roads Safe campaign’s push for the issue to be included in the remit of the G8, the IFRC “encouraged politicians and decision-makers to accelerate the fight against one of the largest scourges of today”.
