The Make Roads Safe campaign has held a series of meetings with senior members of the US Congress.

Bella Dinh Zarr, US Director of the Make Roads Safe campaign, and Jessica Billings, U.S. Youth Ambassador to the UN World Youth Assembly on road safety, met with senior legislators including James Oberstar, (D-MN), Chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Transportation and Infrastructure Committee; Representative John Mica (R-FL), the Ranking Republican Member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee; Congressman Elijah Cummings (D-MD), former Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus; and Congressman Tim Walz (D-MN) to discuss the Make Roads Safe campaign and to rally support for the upcoming UN General Assembly debate on global road safety.
