The Youth for Road Safety (YOURS) NGO gave its support to the Make Roads Safe campaign following the UN General Assembly debate in New York on global road safety.
YOURS has already given its backing to the United Nations Decade of Action for Road Safety which was originally proposed by the Make Roads Safe campaign and passed by the UN General Assembly on 2 March.

We are a new youth NGO for road safety and on behalf of the youth we fully embrace this important global campaign. By joining forces I am sure we can achieve great things together and it is my hope we will safe many young lives on the world´s roads.”
The NGO provides a voice for young people on road safety at a global level, helps them network and share information and aims to assist them in road safety campaigns within their own countries. YOURS was first set up after the first World Youth Assembly on road safety in 2007.
