Hilary Benn Email Campaign Launched

Make Roads Safe has launched its first e-mail campaign, targeting UK International Development Secretary Hilary Benn MP.

Hilary Benn’s Department for International Development (DFID) has failed up to now to make global road safety any sort of priority. Yet the UK government has one of the best records internationally as a leader in tackling issues of global health and global poverty, as well as being one of the most successful countries in the world at tackling its own road safety problems. DFID should be taking the lead on promoting global road safety, and the Make Roads Safe campaign aims to make this an in-box issue that Mr Benn can’t ignore.

See here for more details and to send your e-mail to Hilary Benn.
