House of Commons Petition LaunchedUK MPs have launched a House of Commons petition in support of the Make Roads Safe recommendations, calling for an action plan for global road safety; inclusion of road safety in the G8 and at least £2 million a year funding for global road safety from the UK Government. The ‘Early Day Motion’ was tabled by Labour MP Richard Burden and is supported by a cross party group of MPs.
