Take Action

Politicians are ignoring global road deaths. Together we can make them listen.

More than a million people signed our petition to the UN which was handed to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon on 31st March 2008, the day the UN approved the first Ministerial Conference on global road safety.

We still need your help more than ever to ensure that when governments and aid organisations meet in Russia next year they don’t just talk about road deaths, but commit to action to prevent them.

Together we can begin to Make Roads Safe. Please show your support for the campaign by signing up below.

  • Support for a $300 million, 10 year, global Action Plan to improve road safety in developing countries
  • Call on the World Bank and other multilateral and bilateral donors to ensure that at least 10% of their road budgets are dedicated to road safety measures
